Highs & Lows
-
Beautifully designed space without feeling pretentious. I especially loved the consideration of natural light in the architecture throughout the resort.
-
The staff was super friendly and proud of their new work environment (the hotel only opened a month before our visit). Service was on point.
-
Loved the fact that you have three different choices of swimming locations (community pool, private pool and beach) within reach.
-
The restaurants menu is very international and well executed, although it could feature some bolder regional choices for the adventurous eater.

Health & Wellness
Pool time in abundance! Besides the main public pool, all rooms (except the Superior Double Room which features a little garden) have private pools. You can also join the morning Yoga session or book a personal trainer for 40€ (or 50€ for two people) – which is really fun and worth it.
-
Restaurant
The à la carte menu features international favorites (spicy tuna poké bowl, beetroot carpaccio with pine nuts, kale salad with grilled halloumi) as well as local classics such as Apaki (a grilled & smoked pork delicacy with herbs) or zucchini Kourkouti (a Greek interpretation of zucchini tempura) or local feta cheese with thyme and honey.
-
Bar
The bar features a mix of familiar favorites, a small juice bar selection and creative takes on local spirits (Chania Sour with Cretan raki instead of whiskey or Greek Mule with Metaxa). The wine list is simple but does the trick.
-
Minibar
Besides the usual beer, wine, and water choices you can find Greek iced tea, local chocolate and yummy Cretan energy bars in there.
-
Children
Definitely bring them! They get their own pool area, babysitters and activities. One of the only upscale boutique hotels I’ve seen where kid-friendliness is not at the expense of style, atmosphere, or other guests’ comfort…
-
Price
Around $290 – $700.
