Highs & Lows

  • The sense of privacy and intimacy — really as if you were at home. With only 11 rooms and a layout that creates intimate commons spaces, I always had the feeling I was going home, which was very special

  • The location. In the true heart of Paris but in a quiet area, which is a real treasure. I loved just walking everywhere

  • Food and ambience at restaurant were excellent. Yes, it is fancy, but not stuffy at all

  • The massage at the spa was very good and I appreciated how the massage menu was set and how the treatments were explained to me. I also loved how you can close a door and have the whole area for yourself, be naked, make yourself some tea. Really as if you were at home!

  • Staff was so nice and discreet

  • The technology in the room was perhaps a little too advanced and tricky to deal with

  • The use of single use plastic

Important Bits

  • Type

    Luxury Hotel

  • Vibe

    Quiet and comfortable

  • Location

Located at the heart of Paris’ Golden Triangle, just 1 km from the Eiffel Tower and 3.5 km from the very center

  • Rooms

11 in total, including 2 expansive apartments, 2 grand premier suites, 3 premier suites and 4 premier rooms

  • Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience

I booked using Selfbook for the first time and was amazed that I could confirm both my room and spa reservations with just one click. It was the quickest hotel booking I've ever made!

  • Future Forward

I was sad to see plastic water bottles and many other single use plastic items. I would love to go back and find water, drinks and amenities in glass or, even better, refillable bottles and containers

  • Music

Pleasant and especially very good in the spa

  • Year Opened

    2020

  • Designed By

The hotel came to life after a detailed restoration of the mansion originally built in 1908 and listed today as an historical monument. With the idea of creating a ‘private mansion’ experience, the Wainbridge Estate called on Atelier Alain Ellouz to bring a unique, contemporary design to this early 20th century architecture

  • Health & Wellness

The entire lower ground floor is reserved for the spa, wellness and fitness facilities which includes a 24-hour spa by Officine Universelle Buly 1803, hot tub and on-site gym

  • Food

Home of Michelin-star restaurant Trente-trois, orchestrated by chef Sébastien Sanjou. The restaurant was offering an exclusive menu crafted around truffles, in celebration of the season

  • Bar, Events & Nightlife

Guests can also enjoy a classic cocktail reimagined by the expert mixologist, a glass of champagne, or be tempted by one of the most unique Japanese whiskey selections in Paris at the cozy yet opulent Bar Jean Goujon

A well-stocked minibar. No retail on spot but you can gift Maison Villeroy's exclusive experiences in the form of gift cards

Hotel Location 33 Rue Jean Goujon, Paris, France

The hotel is very well located near the Eiffel Tower but not on the tourist part! The street is pretty quiet which is something very special when in Paris. It is walking distance to one of my favorite restaurants in Paris — Bistrot Marius, and the Crazy Horse which I love to go to one of the most sexy and fine shows.
