Highs & Lows

The décor. Eye candy, but make it classy. It is so fun to be there and the design is not done for design's sake only, the spaces are functional and comfortable.
-
The food (and the vibe) at Café Les Deux Gares across the street. Really delicious.
-
While the areas right around Paris' train stations are not the ones painted in our dreams, this neighborhood is improving a lot and being so close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est is super convenient to get in and out of town — either from other cities like London or from the CDG airport.

The hotel staff and the Touriste team (company who owns LDG and a few other gems in Paris) were a joy!
-
I get the French thing of not eating much and keeping it classy with un petit croissant et café, mais I’d really love to go back and find some healthy, gluten free options for breakfast.

Hotel Location Hôtel Les Deux Gares, rue des Deux-Gares, Paris, France
Hotel Les Deux Gares is tucked down a narrow street in Paris' 10th arrondissement, set between two of the city's major train stations, Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The area has an up-and-coming feeling, it is hustling and bustling and it is definitely getting better by the day. It is right behind Canal Saint-Martin and with easy access to public transport.
