Los Angeles With Simon Spurr
The fashion designer shares his LA favourites
– follow Simon –
Simon Spurr has been a fixture in the city of angels; we caught up with the British fashion designer and the founder of label March NYC about the best things to see and try in Los Angeles perfect for those who are visiting 42 hours or less.
Be where you need to be by 3 pm and don’t travel again until 7 pm. LA traffic is back! And don’t forget, early morning hikes are a must to enjoy the serenity that LA has to offer. Here’s a list of my favorites:
For coffee, Blue Bottle in Los Feliz
To relax, Huntington Botanical Gardens in Pasedena
For the best meal, All Time in Los Feliz
For wine, The Pharmacy (part of Cafe Stella)
For a stunning view, one of the many hikes up to the Griffith Park Observatory
For art, Hauser and Wirth
For shopping, Fucking Awesome on Hollywood Blvd.
For a memorable day trip, visit Summer Island Beach in Santa Barbara or Ojai (and stop by Kate’s Bread)
For vintage shopping, Sleepers in Silverlake or Pickwick Vintage Market in Burbank
For tennis, Vermont Canyon Tennis (below Griffith Park Observatory)
