Sterrekopje Farm

As we arrived, we were confronted with the beauty and serenity of Sterrekopje Farm

We were welcomed at this well-appointed and light-filled conservatory, where we spent the majority of our downtime

Love the Kenyan high beds, which are the centerpiece of each bedroom. The beds are above average high and are accessed by the cube step on both sides of the bed. Our suite is filled with modern amenities and luxuries, but at the same time, looking vintage and bygone

Oh Hello! After checking in and settling into my suite, I was summoned to the spa to start my cleansing ceremony

The beautiful hammam where I was bathed, cleansed, and pampered by Bernice, my spa therapist, for the duration of my stay

Got back to the main house to find chef Amy busy preparing a feast for us to celebrate bae's birthday

Rise and shine!

The first order of the day is a strong cup of coffee

Followed by a wholesome breakfast

Then off to the spa to meet Bernice in the Egyptian room for a relaxing 90 minutes massage

The farm is dotted with waterholes, ponds, and dams for guests to enjoy

Got to show off my barista skills during the stay; Sterrekopje Farm's approach is to make sure all modern luxuries are accessible to guests

After lunch, we were treated to a baking session, which was the highlight of my stay. Love a well-stocked pantry

I baked a gluten-free seed loaf

Another highlight of our stay was meeting landscape architect Leon Kluge, who curated the grounds, in collaboration with the owners

By far my favorite garden at Sterrekopje Farm, designed after the chakras, this bushy labyrinth is a true treasure that words would never do justice. You have to experience it!

After a wholesome garden tour, I had the pleasure of meeting with co-owner Fleur Huijskens which felt like catching up with a friend

Finding reasons to extend my stay, I am sad to leave… Will have to come back soon!
