I was trying to send a few emails before the weekend but was distracted by my old friend Siddarth, who came to take me to a big feast with his family and friends. Few can beat Rajasthani hospitality
Saturday morning at the flower market. Tulips, marigolds, jasmine — you name it, they have it!
A beautiful lady at the flower market made me buy kgs of flowers and had me sitting in my hotel room wondering what to do with them. Okay, I did throw a few on my bed and played some old Bollywood tunes not gonna lie!
Devendra, my butler for the weekend, with the best smile and making my every wish his command. I felt like a true princess!

I love that they made me fill out that form before arrival because the minute I came to breakfast, they had my favorite fruits cut fresh and waiting for me. Mango and watermelon, heaven!

A little lounge area. I love all the details at The Johri. Every corner is different, and such a visual burst!
The Nila Jaipur is one of the most beautiful stores that also runs workshops and exhibitions. They support and protect women through art and craft, which I love! A must-visit!
Inside the Andraab store with the founder MuBashir. The finest Pashmina from Kashmir, you won't find better

The vanity area, attached to the bathroom, was a very calming space
The Johri & Sons hotel bar. I do not drink alcohol though I did try a delicious mocktail. You're probably rolling your eyes, so I'll stop here
A mirror is facing a bed. I'm not thinking of sleeping
Take a lover to The Johri. But if, like me, you went alone, then know you'll at least get a good night's sleep because that mattress is perfect!

Incredible details as each of the five suites has a unique design. I stayed in the Panna suite, painted a soothing green with beautiful furniture, marble, and artwork

The most personalized service as they make you fill out a form before arrival and then personalize your experience by filling your room with your favorite flowers and having your favorite fruits ready for you

Sensual lighting, which did make me regret coming alone

Absolutely no plastic except for the hand sanitizer bottle, which is remarkable. Everything at The Johri was in glass bottles and brass mugs and bowls

I'm so in love with the beautiful glass and brass bottles all over the room. Absolutely plastic-free, except for one hand sanitizer. While I do enjoy eating meat, I like that they have an all-vegetarian seasonal menu
