Highs & Lows
-
They really nailed the combo of mountain-town naturality and homage to the property's history, updated in modern design and all the small details. The owner's relationship with the place really comes through.
-
Partnerships with so many local vendors really invite you to explore the community. Hot springs, kayak school, trail yoga — the staff will talk to you about anything and help arrange.
-
Community programming is printed weekly and available in the lobby so you're aware of every Western swing lesson, town square pancake breakfast, farmer's market and hootenanny.
-
Also on the property is Cache House, the very fabulous hostel-style partner. Gorgeous common areas and the most well designed community bunks I've ever seen, but it's a fraction of the price without discounting the cool or the access.
-
Parking can be a challenge. There is a limited lot by reception, but it's small and you could be stuck trying to find a spot on the busy village streets.

One of the most centrally located spots in the heart of Jackson, WY. The village is in true cowboy country, with saloons, live music venues, antler sculptures and outdoor supply shops on every block. It's surrounded by the Teton Mountain Range, close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, and nearby streams, trails, hikes and skiing.
