Highs & Lows
-
The hotel and the accessible grounds and gardens are world class- excellent walks and hikes available replete with wildlife and lush flora.
-
The rooms, converted from the stables of the palace, are cozy and the environment is extremely quiet and relaxing- a welcome sanctuary from India’s frenetic pace.
-
The comp breakfast is delicious and elaborate and the nighttime BBQ, common with Indian heritage hotels, is more tasteful- no dancing shows- and has great food.
-
We were there with absolutely no other guests, so I can’t confirm the placid vibe would be there if a tour group was on site.
