Highs & Lows
-
The live music during aperitivo hour was my favorite part of the day.
-
The sculptures and art scattered throughout the hotel — including works by Miró — were inspiring and beautiful. I also loved exploring the artist-in-residence sculpture studio.
-
The manicured grounds of the property are simply breathtaking — replete with lemon and fig trees — with incredible views of both the mountains and sea.
-
The service and attention to detail was spectacular.
-
This is an amazing place to connect and learn more about art history.
-
For booking off-site activities and restaurants, communication with the concierge was not as smooth as I would have hoped.

Year Opened
The hotel consists of several buildings — a late 14th century watchtower, two ancient manor houses (Son Canals and Son Moragues — early and late 16th century) plus more recent buildings that were added throughout the years. The original buildings were turned into a hotel in 1984
-
Designed By
All interiors and exteriors of the hotel are in traditional Mallorcan architectural style. The buildings were converted into a hotel in 1984, maintaining as many original features as possible. One of the main interior designers was Antonio Obrador, and later refurbishments were commissioned to Interior Designer Inge Moore (Muza Lab) and Michelle Jouanett
-
Health & Wellness
They have a luxurious spa with six treatment rooms, an indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym. They also have tennis courts and pottery workshops. I personally did not have a need to book a spa treatment as the Mediterranean sea was my spa
-
Food
They have two restaurants on the grounds, El Olivo and Cafe Miró, which offer a daily breakfast buffet, lunch, live music, and a poolside bar. The breakfast was our favorite!
