Before returning home: breakfast pit-stop in Phoenicia, one of my favorite towns in the Catskills. The Phoenicia Diner is a real gem.

Upper level of the Inn, open to all guests. Great vibe and welcoming to all. Read a book by the fireplace, play a board game, watch a movie, listen to music or play pool. It’s an entire floor so there’s tons of space and very inviting.

Yes. One the best parts. The bar is a part of the original design, so it’s really old school wood and mirrors, which I love. The bartender is one of the most knowledgeable and personable guys. Great addition to the hotel.
