This little hideaway is located on a quiet
street off of Boulevard St Germain Des Pres.
Step through big wooden doors to reveal the courtyard of the hotel.
With the Ritz closed for repairs, everyone is split between a few hotels- mainly the Maurice and Crillion. The lobby of the Meurice can be likened to that of a train station- a very grand one of course. The Duc on the other hand offers discretion.

outside and know you're returning to peace and quiet.
The rooms are appointed with antiques. Ask for a room with a terrace- perfect for a morning tea. The bed is comfortable.

After a few magical days in Venice I boarded the night train bound for Paris. It's how I always travel from Italy to France. If I could just take the night train to everywhere.
