Gorgeous George is one of the few hotels in South Africa that is positioning itself as a hotel for cultural production, with a budding cultural program that mirrors something that you would expect from the likes of Soho House, a comprehensive regenerative food program; the hotel grows its food and composts food waste, no plastic amenities, this said I would love to see a shift towards the elimination of plastic water bottles in my future stay

Gorgeous George is on a tree-lined pedestrian-only road in downtown Cape Town. Framed by heritage buildings and a few blocks from the Company Gardens, Bree Street, and overlooking Green Market Square. It can't get more central than this, as many cosmopolitan cities practice caution when you are walking in the city center, specially at night.
