Highs & Lows
-
Service you only experience in a palace. Every need was anticipated, and every request accommodated in the most efficient and casual manner. It's the kind of place that in spite of its grandeur is full of humility, making guests feel perfectly at ease.
-
The park that surrounds the outdoor pool is absolutely breathtaking — its green hills show an incredible diversity of flora. Bicentennial pine trees cohabitate with red beeches, palms and banana trees in a perfectly curated little jungle.
-
The decor is so exquisitely interesting, managing to remain perfectly elegant in its exuberance — the Italian version of the Grand Budapest hotel.
-
The incredible attention to detail and generosity of service. Like, the bellboys at the entrance are dressed in linen Mao collar jackets, white pants and two-toned shoes. Or how the remote control has a made-to-measure orange leather box.
-
We not only got a complementary bottle of prosecco upon arrival, but all of the contents from the minibar were on the house.

Food
As expected in this part of Italy, huge importance is put on food. The main restaurant serves Gualtiero Marchesi's most iconic dishes. The Trattoria serves classical Italian dishes in a casual setting. The poolside restaurant serves delicious pizza and snacks all day long. The bar also serves small bites if you want to nibble while sipping on your Aperol Spritz
