Right across the street from the hotel there is a cable car station to take us to a chair lift and up the mountain we go
The area is known for its prime slopes and it's said that, while other European winter destinations are famous for their social scenes, if you are serious about skiing, Lech-Zuers is the place to go. Come in summer to hike and bike, it is as beautiful as it gets

It is hard to capture in a picture the experience that Skyspace is. Needless to say it is a must go. And super quick access from the hotel

Back to our room, a lofty 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Family Suite with fireplace and balcony overlooking the mountains
Steam and spa time is a big part of the mountaineer culture and Arlberg amazes with their offer. This is a massaging horizontal shower we never heard about before
Sleek, spacious, über comfortable bathroom. Extra points to the Japanese toilet seat
We loved visiting in summer but can only imagine how great this steamy pool might be when the snow takes the landscape over

The commitment Arlberg has to their staff and their community is truly inspiring. The main reason why they keep the hotel open all year round is to keep their team onboard, ensuring their wellbeing and also the hotel's high level of service.

The hotel may be historical but the bathrooms' comfort and design are as current as it can be.

The proximity to Skyspace Lech by James Turrell. There is something deeply moving about the simplicity of framing the sky and letting our eyes navigate the different states of perception the change of light throughout the day can bring. The space can also be visit at dusk and down for a colored light show — which we highly recommend. Our trip was partially plan to discover this place.
