Important Bits

  • Type

    Bohemian, boutique hotel.

  • Vibe

Todos Santos, “All Saints,” has a true bohemian yet historic feel. Hotel Casa Tota embodies the town’s old flavor with their restored brick front façade while offering simplistic design and modern concrete interiors. White linens, soft lighting and wooden balcony doors open out into the street.

  • Location

In the heart of downtown Todos Santos, the property is walking distance to many art galleries and restaurants and only a 10- minute drive to nearby beaches and surf spots.

  • Rooms

15 rooms. It could have been the 16 hours of travel talking, but I’m betting this is the most comfortable bed in Todos Santos.

  • Music

Consistent Mexican music is the vibe. Makes you wonder when the mariachi band is arriving.

  • Year Opened

    2011

  • Designed By

Miguel Ochoa of Baja Builders. Hotel Casa Tota was formerly the Salgado Family Compound for over 70 years and the cantina housed Doña Tota’s general store for more than 50 years. Many of the original building features were preserved in the thoughtful renovation.

  • Health & Wellness

Pool in the center courtyard. Wooden chaise lounges line the deck. The bar is conveniently located nearby for poolside cocktails. No gym. Take a run down desert trails to the beach or find a local yoga class instead.

  • Restaurant

La Santena offers breakfast (included with your stay.) Delicious huevos rancheros and fresh fruit platters with homemade granola and yogurt. Dinner served nightly of traditional Mexican fare with locally sourced ingredients thanks to the market across the street. Lots of vegetarian options.

  • Bar

    House margaritas are a must.

  • Minibar

    No.

  • Children

    Welcome.

  • Price

A steal in the off-season. $100 USD/night with breakfast included.
