Welcome to Encanto.

The all white colorscape, clean lines, and endless views allow every guest to really feel like you are getting away. Once at Encanto you have no need, or desire to leave.
The rooms are large and most have their own terraces. For a couple the set up is ideal because it is your own home away from home. I had a hard time deciding where to relax because there were so many lounging options inside and out of my room.
The hotel recently brought the spa team from the Setai Miami to train the technicians. A killer Thai massage with a view of the ocean was one of my more memorable moments of chill time.

Given Acapulco's well- publicized issues, there are lesser expensive hotels in the area. However, they probably won't match the quality or luxuriousness of Encanto.
One restaurant limits menu options but the staff is helpful and can recomend great local restaurants if you care to venture out and explore beyond the hotel.

Location
Provoking awe upon first sight, the Encanto is perched atop a hillside in the Brisas Marques luxurious gated coummunity. Its location offers killer views, while keeping the perfect distance from the bustle of the lower Acapulco main city.
Rooms
44 rooms (20 have their own pools and 24 their own private terrace). My favorite room has a view of two bays, both Acapulco and Pichilingue.
Music
In the main family areas there are cool playlists that are soothing during the day and trendy at night. Each room has a Samsung dock for playing your own device, and soon the hotel will start Encanto Sessions, a partnership with LA's Cafe Del Mar to bring new cutting edge artists to play live.

Health & Wellness
Water is a common theme of the hotel with little “pool rivers” throughout. The main infinity pool boasts a sunset bar, fully grown trees, and a vast view of the Pacific Ocean. There is also a beach club with private ocean access and chic pillows to lay out on. The gym is on the top floor with full window views in addition to a boxing area provided by former Mohammed Ali Trainer Angelo Dundee’s 5th St. Gym.
Restaurant
Monica Patiño, a well-known Mexican Chef, took over the kitchen of “Origen” last year and provides Mexican staples such as a Duck with Pipian sauce that features a tamale and beans with mint in addition to tradicional Acapulco seafood such as Ceviche Verd and fresh fish dishes like the “Robalo a la Talla.”
Bar
It IS Acapulco afterall! The Sunset Bar is an ideal family room-style area perfect for cocktails at the end of the day. A favorite of mine are the mojitos.

Little ones are welcome, but better suited for those ages 8+.
