Highs & Lows

Ever wondered what it would be like to live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn? After 17 years of living there Jojo and I found our version of heaven. Jammed packed with not-the-average-hipster and tons of hot gay men, this boutique hotel is trending upwards honey. Social hub meets dynamic food and beverage and superior design details we all love. I give this an A+ for connectivity. You will either connect with old friends or meet some new hotties; I certainly did. It helps that the lobby is pet friendly as Jojo has no problem meeting new people, they flock to her always.

The music was stellar. Living for the DJ that night. He had the room perfectly packed and you could tell guests were feeling the vibe he was putting out. Combine this with perfectly crafted cocktails, hot dudes and pretty ladies - we gucci.

Design is my passion, as I develop hotel concepts and this place is giving me great inspiration. Everything is on point, from the perfectly specified decor, muted color palette, to Davin at the front desk and his unexpected scarf tied around his neck. Trés chic. I was secretly thinking to myself how can Jojo distract everyone while I load all the décor up in a UHaul and sneak it back to my apartment around the corner. Don’t worry Hoxton, I didn’t swipe anything. Although Jojo did try to take home her super chic pink dog bed and matching pink bowls...

Jojo and I ordered room service and the coffee was nine bucks for a small paper cup. Ouch!
-
Jojo was super disappointed they didn’t have any pet treats for her, but she had the best night sleep ever and loved sunbathing in well-lit room.
-
I didn’t meet a husband- so sadly Jojo still has a lot of work to do!

Designed By
Hoxton has an in-house London based design studio called Ennismore Design Studio, they partnered with Soho House on the public spaces. The historic brick structure that formed a part of the industrial complex was designed by Perkins Eastman.
-
Health & Wellness
NO, but if you are a gym bunny like me you can go to the many partners they have around the hood or instead download Peloton app and work out in the room. HELLO 2019!
-
Restaurant
Three restaurants and six bars. Klein’s (my favorite) opens up to a backyard and is well programmed. A tasty and sexy mix of American and Mediterranean cuisine. This isn’t a basic menu more like a solid old friend you can rely on.
-
Bar
YESSSS HONEY! And the drannnks are made to perfection. LIT -erly I gave up my #dryjanuary for a sip or two
-
Minibar
My pup and I love to raid the mini bar. Sadly, they didn’t have one. Just some milk for self-service tea and coffee. I think they could add some curated snacks for me and maybe some dog treats for Jolene.
-
Children
Are they well behaved?
-
Price
I always book online direct. But hey, you do you honey.
