Highs & Lows
-
Loved the attention to detail in maintaining the history of this Victorian-style townhouse; the dark and dimly lit hallways, the grand fireplaces, the brass fittings in the bathrooms.
-
There’s a real personal touch to this hotel and attentive service, the manager is on hand to help out and carry heavy suitcases to the top floor!
-
It’s in a great location with the Bowery Hotel just down the road and lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.
-
It’s a small hotel so alongside enjoying its ‘boutiqueness’, there are also downsides - no bar for aperitifs and no dining room for breakfast, yes, I love my breakfast!
