"The most stunning hotel room in Florence"
A quiet hideaway in the center of Florence, Numeroventi makes dreams of owning your own private residence in this renaissance city come true, even if just for the duration of your stay. With the most beautiful lofts, each with painted ceilings and other attention to detail, a stay here is undeniably a treat to the senses. Also an artist and design residence, the six-room property comes with a communal kitchen and hosts creatives while being open to direct booking. Though not your typical hotel with round-the-clock service, this is the perfect place if you’re looking for something authentically Florentine — irresistibly romantic with a side of beauty and aesthetics.
Highs & Lows
-
FRAMA apothecary products.
-
Loft IV, which will soon be converted from a hotel room into a lounge space for all artists and guests to enjoy.
-
The natural light and shadows.
-
Location. It's perfect.
-
Loft I — the original fresco on the ceiling and mid-century design.
-
The entire palazzo is an ever-evolving gallery of work from artists in residence.
-
Looking forward to the new chef-in-residence program.
-
If you are the type of hotel guest who prefers breakfast in bed, there isn't any room service here. But it's Tuscany. Eat out as much as you can.
-
It's very quiet. More like staying in your own apartment in Florence. Which we loved. But if you are looking for a hotel that has a round-the-clock vibe and active hotel lobby, this isn't for you.

Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience
WhatsApp communication with the hosts beforehand felt like we were chatting with local friends. We were sent a beautifully curated “Numeroventi City Guide,” which led us to some of our new favorite restaurants and shops. Because the property is actively hosting artists in residence it’s a little more elusive to book a hotel room. I recommend direct booking on their website or submitting an application for their residency program

Future Forward
It’s the contrast of the future-forward mindset and contemporary design, against a backdrop of Florence that makes this property a standout; the maximalism of Florence outside, the minimalism of Numeroventi inside. It evokes powerful emotions for artists and non-artists alike. Communal living, curated Numeroventi guide, rotating design spaces, chef and artist residencies, all housed in a Renaissance palace
-
Music
Numeroventi is a quiet retreat for creative expression and collaboration. Noise is kept to a minimum, including music

Health & Wellness
We averaged 18,000 steps each day, leaving little need for the gym. Florence is a true walking city. There is no gym or spa on the property
-
Food
Florence is a foodie Mecca at the heart of Italy’s most beloved gastronomical region, Tuscany. While there are no onsite food and beverage venues you have Florence as your palate’s playground. Numeroventi also encourages co-creating and co-cooking in their communal kitchen

Check in with the Numeroventi team for curated openings, gatherings and offferings. The programming is extremely fluid and ever-evolving

There are tastefully curated beverages in each room — local wine, beer and water. There are several ‘brands in residence’ too!

There is a grand staircase in Palazzo Galli Tassi that leads up to the second and third floors where the lofts and kitchen are. The property is unfortunately, not very accessible

If you've ever searched for a "centrally located design hotel that evokes a sense of Florence’s decadent history, while still feeling contemporary,” you'll know that few Florentine hotels fit this bill. But when I discovered Numeroventi, I found my home in Florence. An artist loft housed in a 16th century palazzo, right in the center of the city.
