Highs & Lows
-
The design at Patina Maldives Fari Islands is beautiful
-
The sunset cruise was one of the highlights during the stay
-
The spa! I went three times
-
Breakfasts were worth waking up for!
-
Turtle snorkeling, you should definitely sign up for this excursion
-
Kids Center... I wish I was a kid
-
Designed my own hat at the shop, best memorabilia
-
The shop for men and women were both nicely curated, didn't think I would shop in the Maldives
-
How high the overwater bungalows are above the water, but in a few years this might be a very good thing
-
The television in the room blocks the view. Did make suggestions to move it somewhere more discrete, let's hope it happens
-
Food in the restaurants has room for improvement

Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience
Booking was easy, although I booked directly through the hotel via email. We received a pre-arrival email letting us know all the details for the pick-up and what to except. They checked in with me about my bed preferences
-
Future Forward
The property sources and bottles their own water. They have slippers made from recycled materials, which I love. They have also made commitments towards relying on renewable energy
-
Music
The music throughout the property is overall good, a nice mixture in different areas of the property. Live music on Friday nights at the main dining area. Also really enjoyed the music at the smaller infinity pool
-
Year Opened
2021
-
Designed By
Designed by renowned Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan
-
Health & Wellness
Multiple pools, the ocean of course, gym on property and an amazing spa, which is a must visit
-
Food
The breakfast was outstanding! Everyday was slightly different. ROOTS a vegetarian restaurant was so delicious, I could have eaten there twice. But overall, I was not very impressed with the food. This area could be improved. Apparently their burger food cart is worth noting, but I didn't try it myself
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
Heilo's for sundowners is the spot. Gorgeous views overlooking the ocean. Make sure to ask Kai, the bartender, to make you a drink. Definitely opt to take the sunset cruise there as well! That was one of the highlights of the trip
-
Minibar & Retail
Great minibar! I loved the snack options, especially the healthy ones. Although the price was a bit of a surprise, it does take a lot to get everything out to an island from another island
-
Accessibility
There are golf carts to move around for those who need assistance
-
Pet Friendly
Pets not allowed
-
Children
Most kid-friendly hotel I've seen in the Maldives. I wanted to spend time and play in the kid center, if I wasn't going to be looked at oddly for doing so
-
Price
Great value for being in the Maldives, minus the cost of snacks from the minibar

The Patina Maldives Fari Islands is located in the northern atolls of the Maldives. Once in Male, you can hop on a short boat ride to the island, where you will be served snacks with a glass of champagne if you so desire to start off your vacation. No need to take another flight, although that is an option as well. It is one of the few properties where you can visit other neighboring resorts.
