Highs & Lows

  • The insane views: ocean rooms are perched on the cliff’s edge, while treehouses are practically nailed to the branches. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

  • Animal spotting: deers in the wood, whales in the sea. If you’re lucky you can spot them from your balcony…in a robe…post a perfect sleep.

  • Post Ranch Inn Big Sur has the largest hotel solar system in California with approximately 1,000 sun panels powering the property year-round. So you can feel good about luxuriating.

  • The classic pool is a bit of a disappointment; stick with the ocean-side infinity pool and Jacuzzi.

  • Room service leaves a bit to be desired; don’t miss out on the off-site meals. Big Sur boasts some of the most rad restaurants around.
