Highs & Lows
-
I’ve always admired the work of Pierre Yovanovitch, so the opportunity to stay in one of his masterpieces was a real treat. The interiors are charming without feeling stuffy or over-designed.
-
The views are unparalleled. So much so that we opted to skip exploring the area in favor of hanging by the pool all day to take it all in.
-
This is a working vineyard and you truly feel like you’re nestled amongst the vines - particularly on the stroll to the pool.
-
I’m not a huge fan of Portuguese wines (should’ve figure that out before heading to the wine country) - but not to worry, Quinta da Corte is stocked with french rose’s as well. Check check.
-
The Quinta da Corta hotel is located at the very tippy top of a mountain so it’s a harrowing journey up (and down). But worth it once you arrive.
