There are 16 individually designed rooms by different artists and designers. We stayed in this gorgeous, slick and calm room designed by Norbert Wangen, Viennese interior designer.

It’s my 30th birthday celebration trip and I got this note in the shower.

The rooftop bar functions as a lobby during the day since the hotel only takes two floors of the building and with a neat design, this suits me just fine.

There are great views of Munich and a fireplace for the colder days to snuggle up.

The rooftop bar has some mean cocktails and despite the pandemic fright doesn’t have a curfew and is open until last guest leaves. Very refreshing especially for those birthday drinks!

The service has been above and beyond. We could park our car in the staff parking, which for a busy city like Munich, was a God send.

One of the most fun things to do in Munich is to watch the surfers carve up the Eisbach river! Such a unique sight!

When in Rome, I mean Bavaria. Weisswurst with a brezel and sweet mustard only served with this dish. Find the best street food at Viktualienmarkt.
