The history! You can feel the magic in the walls. Ian Schrager’s Studio 54 touch has been carefully injected into the energy of the hotel. Staying here made me feel equal parts Warhol superstar and Executive realness.
-
The smell is not something I expected to define my sensory stay, but the custom scent from my favorite perfumery in the city is pumped through the hotel and I loved it. The hotel developed a signature scent with Le Labo, and the candle in my room was burning the whole time. The same scent is injected into the bath products, and I showered again just to smell the body wash. I felt sexy here, and I have a feeling I was subconsciously swayed by the sensory soundtrack.
-
The service. Everyone from the front desk to the back bar are phenomenal. The ice machine on the floor is actually just a friendly attendant who brings the most luxurious ice cubes you’ve ever seen.
-
The Edition has an amazing view looking out, but also looking up! The iconic clock tower makes this building legendary, and you can see it from the whole neighborhood. The tall windows let the light in like I’ve never seen before in a hotel room. Again, can I live here please?
-
I'm just sorry I don't live here.
-
The spa was still closed so I missed the experience.
