The Norman A fresh touch.

A fresh touch.

The Norman I liked the wraparound element of our bed’s leather headboard.

Highs & Lows

  • The spa consists of just one treatment room—but don’t overlook this option. The standard massage combines traditions including loomi-loomi, Thai massage, and ayurvedic lower-back work. We each had one and it reset us for the entire day.

  • The rooftop is a great place to tan, relax, swim in the beautiful infinity pool, and take in the Tel Aviv skyline. A great alternative to the busy beach scene.

  • This is some of the most polished service you’ll get in casual Tel Aviv. The room-service waiter fixed our no-cork problem by coming back with a brand new one, still in the packaging, and told us we could keep it. The staff is young and very on it.

  • There is original Israeli artwork throughout the hotel, which gives the space a unique feel. The knowledgeable staff will tell you about it and also help arrange tours of local galleries and artist studios.

  • Omakase dinner at Dinings was out of this world and the service was exceptional.

  • Insanely comfortable beds.

  • Front desk insisted on having us use their taxi service, which then charged us extra for using a credit card. With Uber and at least one Uber imitator being used all over Tel Aviv these days, this seemed out of touch.
