Highs & Lows

  • The Wythe's exclusive wallpaper in our corner king room rocked! Right up our street.

  • Reynard, the restaurant at the Wythe was an absolute pleasure to dine in. Beautiful tiled floor, floor to ceiling vintage glass doors and huge industrial chandeliers as well as fabulous food for breakfast lunch and dinner.

  • The doorman. Mid to late 40s, tats on knuckles, fisherman’s hat and lovely smile. Always remembered us.

  • Complimentary oatmeal cookies in our room and sparkling wine at dinner (honeymoon special treatment).

  • We over-ordered at breakfast but that’s our fault really. Anything that says it’s a breakfast sandwich is actually a burger and chips - for breakfast!

  • The cool rooftop bar Ides is lovely during the week, but at weekends you have to share the elevator with drunk try hard kids trying to get up there!
