Highs & Lows
-
Location is superb and exactly where you want to be in downtown Madrid. Rubbing shoulders with high end and high street shops alike directly on your doorstep.
-
The interiors are stunning, the blending of textures throughout are serious design / home inspo (give me allllll the wallpaper!) and the restored 19th century staircase in particular added warmth to the modern, urban feel.
-
The common areas definitely cater to the modern-day business traveler, both lobby bar and adjacent chill area are great to set up shop and get some work done before hitting the town.
-
Loved that the rooms had mini balconies, always YES to natural light!
-
Rooms may be tight for those who don’t travel light as they are definitely on the more traditional European side [read: small]
