Viceroy Los Cabos
- Where:
- Why:To experience San Jose’s Thursday night art walk
- When:April 2019
- Who:Partner and I.
Highs & Lows
-
Art. I felt like I was staying in one of light artist James Turrell’s works come alive. Magical and one-off.
-
Relaxed. Despite Viceroy apparently being the second-most Instagrammed hotel in the world, it wasn’t over-run by people shoving you out of the way for the perfect selfie.
-
Food. The dining at Nido and Cielomar was some of the best I had in Los Cabos.
-
Alexa. I loved the chance to experiment with Alexa in my room. Especially in the balcony spa or bathtub when wanting a change of playlist!
-
All in-room water came from plastic water bottles yet most earth-aware travellers will have their own refillable bottles. The foyer or bar needs a self-serve re-fill zone, however “non luxury” that may appear.
