Highs & Lows
-
The Lobby Bar is definitely a destination place to hang out.
-
Plunging into that glass pool as temporary relief from the humidity.
-
Totally unlike anything else on offer

Breakfast for veggies is a write-off

Vibe
A converted liquor warehouse (unsurprisingly) located riverside makes it a totally unique spot amongst Singapore's big-name-brand hotels. Beautiful high ceilings and a huge open space lobby do not compromise its intimate speakeasy flavor. Little touches of history blend perfectly with its modern mindset

Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience
Seamless. Singapore is BIG on efficiency. A lovely touch on arrival was a free cocktail token in the form of a customized retro coin
-
Future Forward
The modern mindset means refillable shower stuff and glass water bottles. Bit of plastic in the snack basket “Minibar of Vices” but minimal
-
Music
I was smashing the Shazam. Perfect vibes

Health & Wellness
The glass-walled pool on the roof is something of a design icon among Singaporeans. You can do laps but it's insta-gold if you’re into that kinda thing
-
Food
The hotel restaurant Po serves an elevated take on Singaporean cuisine. The menu itself is peppered with “Popo’s Pearls of Wisdom” such as “in life, you’re either a hamster or a gangster” (I like to think I’m a bit of both). Not a great selection for the vegetarian, so the hamster side was a bit disappointed
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
A beautifully designed and operated cocktail bar. I’d reco The Golden Age made special by the inclusion of Saffron Gin
-
Minibar & Retail
Super cool trinkets are displayed in glass museum cases by the reception as part of the reception desk

The Warehouse Hotel has a colorful history, having been built for booze storage by a river that was part of The Straits of Malacca trade route. The building now stands out as a design icon amongst the identikit blandness of the rest of the architecture along the river banks. It was fun to see the leaf and litter sweeper boats pootling along the river, Singapore is kept VERY clean.
