The best part about Charleston: the consistently warm weather. Perfect escape from the NY snow… and the shrimp n' grits
from Husk.
The whole place oozes authentic charm. Our room was situated in this restored carriage house. Bike rental very much recommended for fortuitous finds (like this charming alleyway).
The "piazza," a more impressive way of saying "veranda," was the best place to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine.

B&Bs can so easily feel musty or old-fashioned, but Zero George strikes the right alluring note with their decor.

The enclave of buildings situated off the beaten track, away from downtown, provided privacy and much needed solitude.

Aesthetics. Very instagram-able Southern charm.

The serenity of the space. It's away from the bustle of downtown. Enjoy a book + glass of wine in the courtyard.

Our room didn't receive the best natural light. I'm sure other rooms have better light.

We wish they had free bikes on premises for guests. We rented from a nearby shop.
